And the same is true for the full on professional with many additional lenses, clothes, tools, batteries, memory cards, and all that.

Digital camera bag options run the gambit of hand held bags, to over the shoulder bags, and down into backpack territory. The bag to consider should be based on your active photography lifestyle. If you enjoy hiking deep into remote areas, or are on the go a lot with your picture taking then a backpack style bag will work best. Just like an ordinary backpack there will be many pockets and pouches to store all your camera gear and with soft adjustable straps it’ll be easy to carry it all around for long periods of time. Other photographers might just need to move from location to location but will not actually be carrying their gear for long periods of time. When it comes to quality and construction many digital camera bags will be made of a durable cloth or leather. They are designed to protect expensive gear so the utmost quality is important. There are many reasons you may want to have a waterproof version of something, or a waterproof mechanism to protect something. A family vacation calls you to the ocean, or a lake and you want to get some pictures of your family going tubing. However the spray off the back of the boat could potentially ruin your camera! Tiny Tim has started his potty training but sadly hasn’t mastered it yet. It gets tiring changing the sheets on the bed and cleaning the matress over and over because Tim is still trying.
